Single Journey (Ad-Hoc) Licence Fees and Payment Options

The fee for a Single Journey (Ad-Hoc) Licence is as follows:

Standard Processing: $320.00

Expedited Processing: $360.00

Payments are to be made payable to the Civil Aviation Authority Bahamas (CAA-B) and may be submitted using one of the following methods:

Important Notes:

Submission Timeline: All requests must be submitted at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the intended departure. Late submissions and revisions may result in additional charges and possible denial of approval.

Licensing Requirement: No air operator shall engage in commercial air transport unless in possession of a valid Air Transport Licence or other applicable aviation document authorizing such operations.

Consequences of Non-Compliance: Operating without the required licence under subsection (1) will result in the automatic suspension of the associated commercial air transport operations.

Providing false information to the Authority for the purpose of receiving approval or permission is an offence (as section 50 (1)(c) of the Civil Aviation Act 2021 indicates) which is punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 or to imprisonment for 6 months or both (s. 50 (2) Civil Aviation Act 2021).
