Single Pilot Operations Pursuant to a Civil Aviation Authority Bahamas (CAA-B) Letter of Authorisation

Pilots holding a valid CAA-B Single Pilot Exemption Letter of Authorisation are required to notify the Civil Aviation Authority Bahamas prior to conducting single pilot operations within The Bahamas.

This online form enables eligible pilots to submit the required notification quickly and securely. Upon successful submission, an acknowledgement email confirming receipt of your notification will be sent to the email address provided.

Submission of this form constitutes notification only.

Submission of this notification does not constitute the issuance, renewal, extension, amendment, validation or approval of a Single Pilot Exemption Letter of Authorisation. Operators are reminded that this notification must be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the intended flight in accordance with the terms of the approved Single Pilot Exemption (SPE) process.

Providing false or misleading information to the Civil Aviation Authority Bahamas (CAA-B) for the purpose of obtaining an approval or permission is an offence under section 50(1)(c) of the Civil Aviation Act, 2021. A person convicted of this offence is liable, upon summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding $5,000, or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six (6) months, or to both, in accordance with section 50(2) of the Civil Aviation Act, 2021.
