Request first-time access to the Civil Aviation Authority of The Bahamas Commercial Space Licensing System, powered by Centrik.
Once your access request has been reviewed and approved, you can sign in to Centrik and submit applicable Commercial Space licence applications and supporting documentation electronically.
This page is used to request access to the Commercial Space Licensing System only. Submission of an access request does not constitute an application for, approval of, or issuance of an Overflight Licence, Re-entry Licence or other Commercial Space authorization.

For proposed space launch activity involving a launch vehicle entering or passing through Bahamian airspace.

Organization name, type, business address and country of incorporation or registration, where applicable.
Identify whether you intend to submit an Overflight, Re-entry or other Commercial Space request.

The Commercial Space Department reviews and verifies the information submitted and may contact you if additional information is required.
Receive first-time access instructions
If access is approved, Centrik access or activation instructions will be sent to the email address provided.
Submit your licence application
Sign in to Centrik and complete the applicable Commercial Space application, including the required supporting documentation.
Regulatory assessment
The Commercial Space Department assesses the application and supporting information against the applicable regulatory requirements before a licence or approval may be issued.
Commercial Space licensing in The Bahamas
Commercial Space activities are regulated under the Civil Aviation (Space Flight and Re-entry) Regulations, 2025 .
Before issuing a licence or authorization, the Civil AviationAuthority of The Bahamas must be satisfied that the applicant has met the applicable regulatory requirements.
Supporting documentation necessary to justify the issuance of a Commercial Space licence or approval falls under the remit of the Commercial Space Department.
